The S-IC First Stage - John Duncan

There are four S-IC stages on display around the country.

S-IC-T at the KSC Visitors center is painted to resemble S-IC-6, or the Apollo 11 first stage. It is actually S-IC-T, the All Systems Test Stage.  It was nicknamed the "T-Bird".

S-IC-D is at the US Space an Rocket Center.  It is painted to accurately reflect it's original paint scheme.

S-IC-14 is at the Johnson Space Center.  It is a flight qualified stage.

S-IC-15 is at the Infinity Science Center awaiting a restoration.  It is the last flight qualified stage built.
