LC-34 one of two pads build (LC-37 also) when Saturn I and IB flights were expected to be more numerous. This was not to be and after the Apollo I fire, which occurred on pad 34, it was eventually razed, only the concrete pedestal remaining with the chilling words "Abandon in Place".
