This is a closeup of the J-2 engine. The white spherical start tank is in the center, the engine is to the left and the thrust structure is to the right. The center post reaches 12 inches below the thrust structure and the J-2 gimbal mounts to it. Quadrant II is straight ahead and III is up and IIII is behind the viewer.
