s135.jpg Visible here are the 3 inch square stringers on the thrust structure. To the right is the RP-1 tank with the stage number "S-IC-6" applied. This stage is actually "S-IC-T" or a test stage. When it was restored in December of 1996, it was painted to match Apollo 11 which used the S-IC-6 first stage. That stage is actually on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. The font used in the restoration is not quite correct, the centerline of the "dash" should not be centered vertically. The top edge of the dash should be along the vertical centerline.
