THE INTERSTAGES

All of the Saturn V's on display (of which there are three) are missing the same things; the interstages. These two fairings, between the S-IC and the S-II, and between the S-II and S-IVB were not preserved except in one place; as utility buildings at the Alabama Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville. These photos were taken by David Weeks, and show good detail usually missing from scale models and unobtainable from the displays.
